A new RTK module, integrated into the drone, collects positioning data at the centimeter level and in real time, obtaining image metadata with a new, absolute accuracy. In addition to the safety of optimized flight, and the collection of accurate data, Phantom 4 RTK stores satellite observation data for reprocessing in PPK (Post-Processed Kinematics) through the use of DJI Cloud PPK Service*.
Phantom 4 RTK can come integrated into any kind of process, with the ability to connect its positioning system to the D-RTK 2 mobile station or to an NTRIP protocol (for transferring RTCM data through the Internet) via a 4G dongle or Wi-Fi hotspot.

Collect accurate data with TimeSync
To take full advantage of all the functions offered by the Phantom 4 RTK positioning modules, the new TimeSync system maintains the attitude of the flight controller, camera, and RTK module.In addition, TimeSync ensures that each photo reports the most accurate metadata by fixing the positioning data in the center of the CMOS sensor, thereby optimizing the results of the photogrammetric process and allowing the image to capture centimeter-accurate positioning data.


Accurate imaging system
Capture the best image data with a 1-inch, 20-megapixel CMOS sensor. The mechanical shutter optimizes the execution of mapping and data collection tasks, allowing Phantom 4 RTK to move while continuing to capture consistently sharp images. With high resolution, Phantom 4 RTK can sample terrain with GSD of 2.74 cm from a height of 100 m.
To ensure that each Phantom 4 RTK offers unmatched accuracy, each individual optic undergoes a rigorous calibration process, with parameters saved in the metadata of each image so that they can be processed and analyzed in post-production.

Dedicated application for flight planning
The new DJI GS RTK app and radio control with integrated screen ensure complete control management, for all kinds of data acquisition tasks.
The GS RTK app allows pilots intelligent control of their Phantom 4 RTK, with different planning modes, such as photogrammetry (2D and 3D), waypoint flight, terrain recognition*, and block segmentation. Import of KML/KMZ files is also possible to optimize the workflow of each mission.
With the integrated screen, operators are able to plan interventions by taking advantage of an ultra-bright 5.5-inch HD display.
Compatible with various applications
Users accustomed to flying DJI drones via third-party apps can now access an advanced app ecosystem to control their Phantom 4 RTK with a radio control SDK. By connecting a compatible Android or iOS device, you can install any DJI Mobile SDK-enabled app and take full advantage of the Phantom 4 RTK’s potential.

Full compatibility with D-RTK 2 mobile station
Phantom 4 RTK is compatible with the D-RTK 2 mobile station, which communicates differential data to the drone in real time and provides an accurate solution for all kinds of measurements, or detects accurate coordinates when used as an RTK rover. The mobile station and OcuSync 2.0 transmission system enable Phantom 4 RTK to collect centimeter-accurate data, even in less than ideal situations such as poor GPS signal receptivity or very bright sunlight.
