Workswell WIRIS Pro is a fully radiometric thermal imaging camera that is specially designed for use with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or drones. WIRIS Pro is at the forefront of a new generation of thermal imaging cameras built for the most demanding applications, including industrial inspection, archaeology, and precision agriculture.
STATE-OF-THE-ART BISPECTRAL CAMERA
Workswell WIRIS Pro is a specially designed thermodiagnostic device. Its thermal camera is equipped with an LWIR microbolometer sensor with a resolution of 640 × 512 px (in the range of 7.5 to 13.5 μm), and its “Super Resolution Mode” feature can provide a final thermogram with a resolution of 1266 × 1010 px. The RGB camera has Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 px) and provides an absolutely unmatched 10x real-time optical ultrazoom (field of view from 6.9° to 58.2°). The highest possible temperature the camera can measure is 1,500 °C (2,732 °F).

THE SO WIRIS OPERATING SYSTEM
Like all of Workswell’s WIRIS cameras, the WIRIS Pro thermal imaging camera operates on the specially designed WIRIS OS platform. Workswell created the WIRIS operating system to ensure the security of its WIRIS systems while improving their diagnostic capabilities. The WIRIS operating system is simply the only software that allows maximum use of the WIRIS Pro hardware. Together, Workswell’s hardware and software offer advanced measurement functions that cannot be replicated by any other product on the market.
STURDY CONSTRUCTION
Industrial inspections are often performed in harsh environments. As a result, there is a high risk that inspection cameras will be damaged in the course of their normal use. That is why WIRIS Pro is encased in a sturdy lightweight aluminum case. In addition, the most sensitive component of the entire system, the thermal imaging camera lens, is protected by a replaceable germanium protective cap.
PRECISE METOLOGY
We know that industrial applications pose a serious challenge to metrology efforts. To ensure the accuracy of our devices in the face of this challenge, we calibrate each of our targets individually. Our thermal imaging cameras are individually manufactured and precisely calibrated, and we provide a final calibration certificate with each unit.
THE WIDEST RANGE OF CONNECTIVITY
Workswell’s WIRIS Pro offers an interface that allows the widest range of connections to the drone, control unit, an external GPS sensor, and other devices. We provide low-latency Wi-Fi live video streaming and command link, and WIRIS Stream SDK is also available.
DEVELOP YOUR OWN APPLICATIONS
Together with Workswell WIRIS Pro, we provide an SDK (Standard Development Kit) that enables the development of end-user applications. These libraries provide access to low-level functionality and help the application developer maximize the potential of the camera hardware.
There are two variants of the SDK: WIRIS Stream SDK and WIRIS Data SDK.
